Although you can't see her shoes, I took the liberty of pairing this outfit with some black booties. I think this look would also be fantastic with some slim black pants and black flats to make it more appropriate for cooler temperatures. The cape is a bit more of an investment, but everything else that makes up this look is pretty budget friendly so I think it's worth it (there are several lower priced capes floating around out there but none that I found gave the same look as the one in the original photo except this Vince Camuto option). Funny this came up. I just got a steal on some camel wool 4 yds for $37! Gotta make me one of these with it!
The camel, black and white combo are at first an unexpected mix...but it works so well!
Also, I love that you added booties. It makes the outfit young/fresh and not so matronly (which sometimes I think a tailored cape can make someone appear if it's not paired correctly). Beautiful!!
