Style Me Saturday: Mother of the Groom

Reader Stacey wrote me because her son is getting married this fall in Jamaica. The wedding is formal and her son and husband will be in tuxedos. She loves to dress trendy but wants to be age appropriate (she's 48) but definitely NOT frumpy!! She doesn't want a very high heel for her shoes and the wedding colors are pink and silver.

I sent Stacey several dresses to choose from, here are the options I found for her:

Her favorite was the Donna Ricco dress, so I accessorized it for her in the following way - click on any image below for more information. I went with gold because I think it looks better with this particular dress but silver accessories would also work if you prefer:
