Style Me Saturday: Winter Work Looks

Juliana lives in frigid Michigan and works with her husband at the insurance agency they own. Her husband always looks sharp in coats and ties, but she feels as though she struggles to look put together but also stay warm during the freezing winter months. She is also looking for budget friendly pieces, so I tried to stick with items she could wear with more than one outfit and stuck to budget conscious stores like Forever 21, Gap, and Target. Here are several outfit ideas I sent her - click on any of the images below to purchase or for more information!

My main suggestion for Juliana is to look for cozy (not oversized!!) knits, dress pants (or dark denim trousers), and simple closed toe pumps or booties. Because she's looking to stretch her budget, I also chose some pieces that are great layered with a jacket for winter but will easily transition to spring with a skirt or cropped slim ankle length pants.

This would be a great outfit for a casual Friday as the dark denim trousers still keep it professional but it's a bit dressed down compared to the other looks. If Juliana feels this outfit may be too casual when compared with her husband's suits and ties - she could easily throw on some khaki colored dress pants to make it feel a little more dressed up.

she needs long undies and fleece- some fleece comes styled in indoor-type jackets, e.g. Lands End has a double-breasted button-front fleece jacket. Short dress boots and scarves too...
