Inspired by...Shopbop (Nautical)

As you have probably noticed by my recent "What I'm Wearing" post, I adore nautical inspired outfits and so I was very excited when I saw Shopbop's Shore Thing lookbook. I love all of the looks, but I decided to feature this one because I thought it'd be easy to recreate and flattering on many body types.

To start, you'll need a navy jacket/blazer like this version from Forever 21, which retails for $26.90. (Click here to see an alternative - in limited sizes - for $16.99.)


Next you'll need a flowy tank like this version from Splendid for $68 (unfortunately it's almost sold out, so I've included a widget with other striped tank options). In my opinion, since the tank is shown tucked in, any striped tank would do, click on any photo below to purchase.

You'll also need a ruched pencil skirt (this one is sans zipper detailing) like this version from White House Black Market which retails for $98.


And finally, a gold tone wood necklace like this one from Kohl's ($9 on sale) is a great finishing touch! (Or a more expensive alternative here for $48.)
