*Update - 8/30/10* - My readers are seriously the best, and Alexis from NY is no exception! She just emailed me this fabulous ruffle trench from Hawke and it retails for a very affordable $119. It's a great alternative to the more expensive Burberry version, especially since the Anthropologie jacket is no longer available. Click on the photo below if you're interested in purchasing.

I scrolled, hoping you'd found something for even less. *lol* Maybe NY & Co will knock it off. They had a cute ruffle trench last season that sound out.
The bottom tiers on both coats add such a great element. And gigiofca, I hope you're right - I'd snatch that up in a heartbeat from NY & Co!

Just updated the post with a black version I found - it's a little cheaper at $99. Still on the lookout for an even less expensive option.

I fell in love with this anthro coat the second i saw it! However, i was not going to pay $188 for it. I searched on ebay a couple of months ago and i was able to get it for $99. So keep trying! it's a gorgeous coat.

After seeing this coat on "How I met your mother" I was on a mission.... my hubby was so sweet and paused the show and it was love at first sight! Looks to me the best "copy" is BB Dakoda almost a clone. Sadly all these copies are standard smallish sizes, anyone know where to find a plus size version say a 22?
